Junk removal in North York — flat price from photos
Send photos of what has to go and get one flat price for the whole job. A condo on the Yonge corridor or a Willowdale house with a full basement, the process is the same, run from our base at Yonge and Sheppard.
A flat price from your photos, confirmed on arrival before we touch anything — never a mid-job surprise.
Get a North York price in three steps
No site visit and no range. You send photos, we send back one number for the whole job, and that number is checked at your door before anyone lifts anything. Start a photo quote, or text the photos to (437) 475-3552.
- Photograph everything that has to go, plus the way out: stairs, hallway, elevator or driveway. Add your postal code and the day you need it gone.
- We reply with one flat price. Carrying, loading and disposal are inside it, and there is no hourly meter.
- On the day, we confirm the price before we start. If the load is bigger than the photos showed, you approve the new number or send us away at no charge. The price never moves once work begins.
Same-day junk removal in North York
Same-day pickup in North York comes down to one thing: whether a truck is free that day. We don't promise a slot we don't have. Send photos with your deadline as early as you can, and the reply tells you straight whether today works. If it doesn't, you get the next open slot.
Timing is one of the things a price is built from, so the flat number you get back already has your date in it. Nothing gets added for the rush afterwards.
Condos and elevators on the Yonge corridor
Pinky's home base is 2 Sheppard Avenue East, right at Yonge and Sheppard. The towers along Yonge between Sheppard and Finch make up much of North York's condo stock. A move-out there means a booked service elevator, an underground loading dock and a property manager who wants paperwork before the day. We handle the booking and can supply a certificate of insurance on request.
Tell us the building when you send photos. We pad the elevator, protect the corridor and bring everything down from the unit ourselves. If there's a storage locker on a parking level, include a photo of it and it goes into the same price. More on how building jobs run: condo junk removal.
Post-war houses, basements and rebuilds
Around the core, the housing is mostly post-war. Willowdale, Bayview Village, Don Mills and York Mills are full of 1950s and 60s bungalows and ranch houses on wide lots. Many of the original Willowdale bungalows have been torn down and replaced with much larger houses, and that turnover continues.
That gives two kinds of house job. One is a long-time owner clearing a family home before a sale, usually with a full basement and a double garage. The other is a house about to come down, where everything left inside has to go before demolition day. Both are priced from photos of every room, garage included. For a basement that has been filling for decades, see basement cleanouts.
West of Bathurst, east of Leslie
West of Bathurst, Downsview, Bathurst Manor and Lawrence Manor are more post-war bungalows and split-levels, most with a driveway we can load from. On the east side, Flemingdon Park and Don Valley Village have large apartment towers and townhouse complexes. The routine there is the same as downtown: book the elevator, protect the corridor, carry it out.
North York houses are on City of Toronto curbside collection. The free oversized-item pickup is an option if you can get the item to the curb and wait for collection day. Condos on private collection generally aren't covered. See our junk removal service for everything we haul, or all of Toronto for the city-wide page.
What changes a North York price
Volume comes first: how much of the truck the load fills, not how many items you counted. Item type is next, because a few things, mattresses among them, carry a disposal surcharge. Then access. A pile in a Bayview Village garage and a unit high up a Yonge Street tower can be the same volume and very different amounts of carrying. Your deadline matters too.
All of that is inside the flat number you approve. There's no price list on this site, because a rate card is a starting point that tends to grow at the door. What junk removal costs in Toronto goes through each factor.
What we don't take
A few things aren't ours to haul, and we'd rather say so before you book than at your door. If your photos show something on that list, we tell you when we quote and point you to who handles it. A former tenant's belongings are one example: we take those jobs only when the paperwork under Ontario's Residential Tenancies Act is in order. What we don't take has the full list and who to call instead.

Where your North York load goes
North York sits in Toronto, so your load follows City of Toronto’s disposal rules. Donation and recycling come first, with receipts on the diverted share, and the rest goes to the right facility. The flat price you approve already reflects that routing.

North York junk removal questions
- Do you cover all of North York?
- Yes. North York is our home area, with our base at Yonge and Sheppard. That includes Willowdale, Bayview Village, Don Mills, York Mills, Downsview, Bathurst Manor, Lawrence Manor, Flemingdon Park and Don Valley Village.
- How do I get a price for junk removal in North York?
- Send photos of everything that has to go, plus the way out, through the quote form or by text to (437) 475-3552. We reply with one flat price and confirm it at your door before any work starts. If the load is bigger than the photos showed, you approve the revised price or cancel at no charge.
- Can you do same-day junk removal in North York?
- When a truck is free that day, yes, but we don't guarantee it. Send photos with your deadline as early as you can and we'll tell you whether today works or give you the next open slot. The flat price already accounts for the date.
- Can you take junk out of a North York condo?
- Yes. Tell us the building and we book the service elevator with management, protect the corridor and carry everything out of the unit. We can supply a certificate of insurance if your property manager asks for one.
- Is there anything you won't take?
- Yes. There is a short list of materials we can't legally haul, and we only clear a former tenant's belongings when the paperwork is in order. If something in your photos is on the list, we say so when we quote and tell you who handles it. Our What We Don't Take guide has the details.
