Big pieces, tight spaces
Most furniture can leave the way it came in, even if it takes some work. Sometimes that means taking it apart. Sectionals unclip, bed frames and many wardrobes unbolt, and table legs come off. We do that on site when a piece needs it.
Sofa beds are heavier than they look because of the steel frame inside. Solid-wood dressers and china cabinets are the same. A photo of each piece, plus one of the stairs or hallway, lets us plan the crew and the carry. In a condo we book the service elevator and protect the corridor.
What gets donated, and what doesn't
Donation centres are strict because they have to be. A piece needs to be clean and solid, with no rips, stains or pet damage. Flat-pack furniture that has been taken apart and rebuilt a few times often won't survive another move. From your photos we'll tell you honestly which pieces have a shot.
Pieces that qualify go to a donation partner, and you get a receipt. The rest is split between recycling where possible and disposal where not. If most of your furniture is in good shape, furniture donation pick-up explains how we sort a mixed load in one visit.
One piece or a whole house
Live in a house and can wait for collection day? If you can get the piece to the curb, Toronto's free oversized-item pickup may be the better deal. We'll say so. Condos, deadlines and anything that has to be carried out are where we earn the fee.
Moving out or clearing a whole home? Photograph every room and you get one flat price for all of it. We pick up across Toronto and the GTA, from west-end semis near High Park to condo towers in North York. Check what we don't take first: a former tenant's furniture, for example, needs the paperwork in order.
Why this page exists
Furniture is where donation actually works. A clean couch has a second life, and our receipt shows you where it went. We sort for reuse first and disposal last.

Frequently asked
- Can you take just one couch?
- Yes. Single-item pickups are a core job for us, especially in condos and same-day situations where the free city pickup can't help.
- Does furniture in good shape cost less to remove?
- Often, yes. Donation and reuse cost us less than landfill tonnage, and the flat price you see from photos reflects that.
- Will you take furniture apart?
- Yes, when a piece won't fit through a door, hallway or elevator in one piece. We take it apart on site and haul it away. Mention the tight spots when you send photos.
- Do you take office furniture?
- Yes. Desks, office chairs, filing cabinets and tables are all in scope. Empty the drawers first, then photograph each piece and the route to the loading area. It comes back as one flat price.
